Dustin M. Romero is our newest addition to the Landry, Watkins, Repaske & Breaux family. He is highly motivated and looks forward to cultivating lifelong relationships from a local client base. He is not focused on only one practice area and will maintain a general practice. He will practice in the areas of real estate, general litigation, domestic and family law, personal injury, estate planning, business transactions, and so much more. Being a native of Iberia Parish, he can relate with local clients on a uniquely personal level that “big law” would never be able to do.
When we asked Dustin, “why he chose Landry, Watkins, Repaske & Breaux,” he responded, “I want to know my clients, I want to stay with my clients.” He continued by saying, “I want to grow with my clients and represent them through multiple generations. The beauty of this small town is that I’ll be able to help someone through all their challenging times, from a grandparent’s succession, starting a business, burying their parents, buying a home, getting a divorce, and getting their child through a DWI plea. It is the lifelong relationship, that will allow me to be there for someone through their toughest times, that I look forward to the most.”
Dustin Romero is married to Meghan Romero, whom he met at his alma mater, Catholic High School. They welcomed their first child, Noah Romero, in 2021. Meghan comes from a family of educators and is currently a 6th grade math teacher at Loreauville Elementary. In his spare time, Dustin likes fishing and hunting, spending time with his family, and supporting LSU and UL Lafayette athletics.
